Barrett

A shot of the Light .50 Sniper Rifle I am almost finished with. Going into a scene with the Trumpeter Hummer I converted into an Israeli Patrol Hummer and my first ever building in a diorama. Kinda stressing about the building though. Haven’t done it before and am just trying out all kinds of different stuff to get it right.

The buttstock is from an anti-tank rifle as is the initial part of the receiver, trigger group, and magazine. The barrel shroud, barrel, muzzle brake, and carry handle are scratch built from plastic stock and fine wire. The bipod is from a Bren gun.

Scorn,

Looks good! I was thinking about scratchbuilding an XM-109 in 35th, just for giggles. The new 25mm Barrett is pretty impressive. Can you imagine shooting a Bradley round from your RIFLE??!! Anyhow, I’ve got the M-82/107 version that came with the DML modern US Sniper team set, but its packed up somewhere.

Just a cool rifle all around!

OMG ! I had no idea that anyone made it into a kit! Thanks for the heads-up!

btw. Firing a 25mm out of anything that you could carry would be VERY HIGH on my list of things to do in my life! That has to be a great feeling…

[:D]Scorn,your light .50 looks realy good,great work.[:D]
