Barracuda decals for 1/32 Corsair cockpit

While bored and looking at modeling products online (I know dangerous) I bought Barracuda’s cockpit placards and stencils for the Tamiya 1/32 Corsair. Anybody ever use these?

I haven’t used the placards and stencils for the Corsair, but I have used the set for the Tamiya 1/32 P-51D. Really well done stuff - perfectly printed, easy to use, and the instructions are very clear with numerous photos to aid things along. It really adds a lot of life to the cockpit and radios.

If it helps, I’ve never purchased a bad bit of aftermarket from Barracuda. The decals are always well-done and the resin stuff is absolutely hassle-free to clean up and install. It’s a quality outfit to do business with.

Thanks Knight. I’m assuming they install like typical decals? Smooth surface-Microsol-place decal-squeeze out any moisture-microset or other decal setters? Maybe they are to small for that?

Standard procedures for water slide decals, yes. Some of the decals are small and the carrier film is thin, so work slowly and deliberately. The decals responded well to Micro Set, but I never had to reach for the Sol, so I can’t really comment on how well they’d behave under a solvent.
