Bandai HG scopedog

So, I figured since I was starting to post here a little more, I should share something. I finished the Scopedog in February. I’m on a bit of a hiatus from building right now due to a move. Some of you already know me from another board. I’ve been lurking here for too long.

Nice Job! Looks like he’s been through a rough patch… :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Like the damage work you did, came out very realistic looking.

Wow, outstanding finish with that ‘injured and limping’ pose.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.

The pose is fantastic. Very realistic looking. I really like the oily mess on the side where the arm is gone. Honestly looks like the same oil and dust mixture I have to clean off my bike gears after hauling it on the back of the truck down a gravel road.

I was trying to go for splattered hydraulic fliud mixed with a bit of blast damage/burntness. I thinks it is a bit dark, but it looks nice in normal light.

Everything about this is great. The stance, the weathering, the pose. Very, very cool MZ3.

Incredibly cool detail here. Not much to say that hasn’t been said already, but its pose has such a realistic “last stance” vision to it.

Let’s try again…

This is the artwork that inspired this build…

I couldn’t get the exact pose due to the limitations of the knee joint. I didn’t really feel like turning it into a major pain for such a small kit.
