O.K. it screws on to the airbrush. Nice. Now what. There is
no “female” part for the hose. Am I missing something?
I searched but can only find the quick disconnect that
I bought listed anywhere. There must be a “female” part
for the hose. Yes? No?
If you change from the screwing process to quick change ( you just engage the connect into the other one, you can change your airbrushes quickly, you must no longer shut the air supply ) it is obvious that you need male AND female parts . I think it is a part that screws on the airhose the same way you screwed the male part on your airbrush and I figure Badger produces it the same way they produce the matching part. You shouls get it at the same place you got your male connect ( the alternative is getting a specific airhose, but that means modifying the compressor, I bet they sell the female part, no worry)
You can order a Createx female connection. It works with the Badger male fitting. I bought a few of the Createx female quick release fittings to put on my air hoses. It is cheaper than buying a hose with the female fitting on it if you already have a airhose you are willing to cut the end off of.
John
Thanks for pointing that out John, I forgot that they fit.
James,
I can get you that hose for $18.42 plus shipping if you want one.
The Createx connector that John mentioned is another alternative although it is almost the same price as the Badger airhose.
