I live in an apartment and need to open it up for ventalation when airbrushing. I usually open the oatio doors and run a big floor fan plus two ceiling fans when the weather is good. The last three weekends it has been raining and cold(I live in the desert). I have several models I want to paint. Since I live in an apartment i can’t make any major modifacations and lighting can be a problem. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
If you’re willing to sacrifice a window opening you could use that space to install a(removeable, of course) spray booth. The key there would be the type of windows at your apartment. Have never done that but sounds like the next option may be a different location for painting altogether.
thats what I am thinking John, a spray booth would do the trick… you might ask around about what would be required to build one yourself… you could duct it out the window with a short hose mounted to a barrier of some sort like plywood that you can wedge in the window opening to keep the heat/cold and rain out…
good luck!
lseter and Tom, thanks for the advice, have been considering such an arrangement
