Hey all. I just joined this great community. I made a few models back in the day (30 years ago) but never had to patience to do them correctly! Was always in a rush to get them together. With us all in basic lockdown, my son and I have started to buil models. I made a post on the Ships forum (it was my first post so waiting for it to be approved) of our work so far and what I have learned that I will bring to my next project.
I have been looking through many topics and see there is a great deal of knowledge here. I am looking forward to progressing throgh this hobby and learning what I can. Perhaps in the future I may be able to help others as well.
Yes, we all acquired the “build it after homework but before dinner” habit.
Most active modelers will build more than one model at a time. We all have our most and least favorite phases of builds and this helps overcome getting stuck.
Welcome back! I have found memories a crunching a kit together in an afternoon. Impressive considering the drying time of the old testors orange tube cement lol
