I’ve not been around for a while due to my computer being repaired and all the other things life throws at me. Anyway, I’ve tried to post some pics of some builds I did over the Easter holiday but as usual, I keep getting it wrong[:I].

The mustang is the Tamiya kit and the spitfire is an airfix kit of a Mk22.

It was worth the wait. Smashing builds ! What did you use for the NMF? Looks very realistic.

I hear you about computer problems. Mine was infested with spyware. I downloaded two free programs, which found about 900 objects !

Wow, man…Very nice. And the Mustang is my all time favorite (well, it’s on the list along with 10 others…) - as well as a Griffon engines Spit!! Great stuff!

You can almost hear the "eye of the tiger " playing from survivor.
I love the subtle yet heavy duty weathered look you really do
these kits good credit.

rjkplasticmod, a big thanks for putting the pics on here for me. I’ve forgotten how it’s done-to be honest I’m completely baffled as to how you do it!

Pix, For the NMF I used Humbrol metalcote polished aluminium. To darken some of the panels by a shade or two I mixed in a little gunmetal, also from metalcote. After a few test runs I found a nice shade of darkened aluminium.
It works really well, if you don’t mind using lots of masking tape for those panels!

Obiwan, “eye of the tiger”[:D][:D][:D] I liked that!
