Could anyone recommend a source (brand & dealer) ??

I built the old Testors kit. You may still find it under the Iterali name. You had a choice to build it as a B,C,or D. Airfix and Matchbox also made a C version. But I didn’t like them as much as the Testors kit. All of them lack in detail.

Try thinking of 1/48, Accurate Miniatures makes a release for the Doolittle Raiders. It includes all sixteen sets or markings for the mission.
