B1B

i know mate saw one last year, hopefully next year it will be up against the vulcan no that will be worth seeing old and new and of course double noise

I live at the end of the run way at MCAS Beaufort and there was an airshow one year when there was a B1 well it flew right over the house, lets just say that it was so low that i could clearly see panel lines, after it flew over i had to put pics back on the wall.

Ah, the Vulcan restoration project! Would you let us know if and when it flies next year? This one I can’t afford to miss. After all, I’m just on the other side of the Channel [;)].

I have only seen one Vulcan fly, very, very, very impressive ship. Thats one big mutha, or is that an illusion caused by the wing area? What is the wing area? About 30,000 feet?

werll put it this way the delta wings are huge , its powered by the same engines as concord, and can out manouver the lightning fighter , impressive plane , you got to see it to belive it hopefully next year we will

thats a lot of mk 82s’ coming out of that bird!

If any of these show a red x, I’ll fix them a little later and resize them too. BTW I have a list of the Dyess AFB B-1s’ listed by serial number and name that I can post if anyone is interested.
