B-25J Mexican Air Force

This is the Hasegawa kit OOB, with decals of along gone mexican company. The only three airplanes the mexican air force adquired, were delivered without any armament.

A military warplane with no armament. That’s sorta dumb. No, make that a whole bunch dumb. What did we figure, that they were going to take up where Pancho Villa left off?

Very nice! Would Aztec maybe issue those decals if they had the correct info? - Calvin

Nice build!! And very interesting subject.
No ammo, maybe they didn’t have fuel either.

Dear friends:

In March 1945, the Mexican Air Force started to fly three B-25J in the Escuadron Aereo 206 (Air Force Squadron) still the 50’s; the Mitchell never was used like bombers, instead, some times was used like transport in Cozumel, Mérida and other cities at Peninsula de Yucatan… by now I dont know why the B-25J was received on Mexico without armament.

Best regards

Manuel
