I have just started the Monogram B-25J and I’m on step one and already in need of help. I have one source that says the interior is Chromate Green, one source that says Chromate Yellow, one source that says Dark Green and the instructions say Olive Green. What colour is it supposed to be? I have searched high and low and I haven’t found a definative answer. Any help with this dilema would be much appreciated. I’m doing this one as the “Jaunty Jo” because its a PTO bird and my Jug is an ETO.
aaaai found this pic of a B-25J cockpit, painted in Bronze Green or Interior Green. If your “J” has a glass nose, that compartment would also most likely be the same color. The fuselage interior, behind the cockpit, and in the wheel wells, could be Chromate Yellow or Chromate Green. I can’t recall seeing any cockpits painted Chromate Yellow.
I believe that the colors are more a matter of which factory produced the particular aircraft. WW II bombers were produced by different companies. If you can read the data plate on the decals, it may tell you. (ex: B-25J-10NA), with NA being North American.
Wish I could be of more help.

Hope this helps…Might have some answers to take the confusion out. The interior color of aircraft vary, from aircraft to aircraft and compartment to compartment.
