[?]Hi there, i found a B-24 and this model comes with a “small” tractor, i was wondering if any one out there may give me a hand and help me out with some information regarding this vehicle, i have compared it with a Jeep and a RAF dispersal tractor, and this model, the b-24 tractor is way too big! any references are welcome… Thanks so much [:D]

This particular tractor is known as the Cletrac. It was used as a general purpose tractor by USAAC personnel in all theaters of war. Roger Freeman’s books have numerous photos of this little vehicle being used by ground crews in a variety of ways. One shows a makeshift crane arm welded to the front of one to aid with engine changes . Hope this helps. - Ed
Thank you Keyworth! that was useful, so then theres no problem with the scales? i mean the Celtrac looks way bigger than the Jeep and than the RAF dispersal tractor, i was thinking that perhaps because of the brands the sizes would differ, thank you very much man, i really appreciate it! [:-)]
Acording to my info the Cletrac (Cleveland Tractor) was a fairly large vehicle originally designed to be an artillery tractor. It turned out that it was good for LOTS of jobs but excellent at none so it was used for many jobs that it wasn’t originall intended and it was field modified for many other jobs. It had maintenance trouble that earned it the nickname Cleaktrac.
Thank you very much my friend, i really appreciate it
