Hi all[8D],
Is there a company that produces an Avro Arrow?
Any scale ( but I do prefer 1/72 )…
Cheers,

Hobbycraft of Canada has been producing 1/72 and 1/48 Avro Arrow kits for years.
They recently retooled their 1/48 kit (which is said to be more accurate than the 1/72) and a review of it can be found on this site in the “Workbench Reviews” section.
Their 1/72 kit has been around for years and I hear the molds were originally Aurora stuff.
Both kits have been reissued numerous times, so should be easy enough to find.
There is a British aftermarket outfit called Mastercasters that just announced three resin sets for the 1/48 kit and say there is a very strong chance that they will do the same for the 1/72 kit.
I’ll try to find more info on that for you.
Here’s their web address:
Thanks mate…
But only one thing : the url doesn’t work.
Cheers,
Jürgen

If you go to
and go to the “Whats New” section, there’s been a couple of pre release reviews of the 1/48 Arrow sets. The reviews have only been in the past month or so and should not be difficult to find there.
I have just finished the Avro Arrow kit as produced by Astra as a vacumform kit. This was avery good kit and based on comments from others who have built the Hobbycraft kits may be the best model available. If youy are interested in seeing a couple of pictures of the finished product send me your E-mail address to mats.man@cox.net

I got the Hobbycraft 1:48 before they retooled, so this info might be a bit out of date, but I wasn’t too happy with the way the fuselage fit together. Part of it could have been how long the model was sitting who-knows-where in the shop, but the pieces were a bit warped.
