AV-8B Harrier II plus Cockpit photos ?

Hi all,

About to start on my Hasegawa Harrier II + which I’m adding the Aires resin and photoetch cockpit to, and I’m after some reference photos of the Harriers cockpit - especially for colour references. Can anybody help me out ?

I think the Verlinden “Lock On” series of soft cover books has one on the AV-8. Books in that series have all color pictures and normally have several of the cockpits. They are usually available from Squadron if not your LHS. [alien]

i’m currently working on the hasegawa harrier. I couldn’t find a good cock-pit pic either…had to use a reference photo from an earlier harrier version…sorry its in storage now or id scan in for you.

fyi…i had problems fitting the cock-pit (assembled C1 and C8) into A5. also i believe if i would have removed the placement pins on part D3 (when combined w/ E2 & E3)the fitting would have been better with the rest of the fuselage.

good one! I found that one when I was building my AV-8B awhile back, here’s another one with a few areas of the cockpit as well as a complete walkaround!
