It appears that I failed to read/remember the message heading when I made my two replies. I apparently focused on the word “artillery” and lost the implication of the “towed gun” portion.

My 1st post was purely a definition of artillery, and thus incomplete.
My 2nd post should have not really been made.

If this understanding is now correct, it would probably pay to add to the rules, that any towed gun, regardless of role, is allowed – so a Pak40 would be OK (but SP AT would not ?).

I have several towed & SP arty pieces on the shelf clamoring for attention, but I have no room on my workbench until sometime this summer. I guess I’ll watch progress & possibly join later.

I added this picture of a 105mm round inpacting in a farmers field in Iraq. I took it while I was registering the guns. Anyway, I thought that since we are covering a wide array of systems, a picture of effects would be on-line for the badge. Im not very skilled at designing little badges and the like, if someone wants to take it and run with it.

yes the rules on the top of the page are confirmed. no official start date, just get it done by the end of the year. If any of you want to submit a badge, tht would also be okay.

Hmm, I think I might change my entry. I didn’t realize that rocket systems would be allowed. I think I’ll stick to something modern. Had my fill of WWII stuff for now. I have a builtup M-110 203mm, all in subassemblies waiting for paint, so it’ll be either that or the Dragon MLRS, but not sure on anything yet.

I think i’m still trying to figure out what i want to do but i do have the early M109 kit to do , the K5 railgun or whatever i can find at a shop to work on that catches my eye?

the first one is well Saint Barbara the artillery patron saint the second one is the crest for the school of artillery and the 3rd is well as you can see, crossed cannons. Have fun!

Anyone know if the Trumpeter AS90 is any good ? If it is Id like to do that one, I seen it in one of my LHS the other day at a reasonable price.

JFPuishys: my M-198 isn’t going atm, I’m workin on 2 other builds for the 1/72 Attack A/C GB and the Stealth A/C GB.

Please me in with the Italeri M-7 Priest. Got it on E-Bay and should have it in a couple of weeks. I’ll start when I can squeeze it in but should have no trouble finishing by the end of the year.
