does anyone know of any sites with good references for this aircraft, i found the frog 1/72 kit the other day and thought that i’d give it a go sometime soon, after i finish my 2 checker nose mustangs…
i’ve found afew pages, but nothing of much help
any help or pics of this aircraft would be great.

There is a web site that deals with the Whitley in which the Maquette kit is reviewed.
If you have the Frog kit you will have an easier job!
I thein I found the site by typing Armstrong Whitworth Whitley into my search engine.
One point to note is that the Coastal Command model needs to have the Radar array modified. It has been over simplified in the kit and the postitons on the top are mispositioned.

It’s a US site so probably a bit more use than the UK publisher’s site.
These books are excellent, incoporating 1/72 drawing of all the main variants, and loads of photos.
