Willy,
NO body tring to fight you and teach you how to do business.
It is your business to chose when and how to reply your emails. Peopl will wonder why if you do not answer their email. even your “wolfy” stated that “you are famouse for delay of replying email”. (he deleted his post after, who knows why? do not forget to send him some free set. but people know the truth). some people “tried in vain” to get some. (the post is still on the forum, please do not delete).
As for the gear reduction noise, I am not the only one who has the problem. you know that, i know that and people know that. All I posted here is my personal experience. I did not speak for all people. I do not like the gear reduction kit by you. other people have their right to show their opinion.
again, is it still toyata even I did not buy from toyata factory. you can not say all people who have noise problem did not get directly from you. it does not make any sense to argue about this. and I do not think people like this here. please just stop this.
No Tom ,
I want stop …
I am just trying to figure out what the deal is with this noise-problem …
I have posted this question several times and have not gotten 1 reply from other people about it …
so far I just see you posting about that …
what is it with you ? what are these comments " your wolfy " and the other stuff …?
are you out for washing dirty laundry …?
you want to do that …?
just go ahead be my guest …
if somebody needs to stop with this nonsense , it’s you …
I start taking your comments as a personal attack and insulting…

tomzag you are a stubborn guy and you posts will help no one. I wonder the other guys keep polite with you. I like this forum because of the people who want to help each other and try to solve problems (like Willy who offers to figure out the noise proplem) and because they do it in a polite way - please respect this.
Gentlemen,
Enough is enough. This 6th-grade bickering comes to an end now. If this thread cannot get back on topic, then I’ll lock it. Considering it’s been on topic until recently, I really don’t want to do that. My other option is that I start censoring your posts, and I’m sure you don’t want that either. I went so far as to try to change the flow of conversation myself, but it obviously hasn’t worked.

Have anybody here ordered stuff from http://www.etoarmor.com/ ?
how long will it take after payment before you get the parts?
it took me 2 month to get my order from back yard armor.
Check out the below site, bottom of page
http://www.rctc.co.nz/dispatches.html
A “slight” problem!!!
Oh well
Max
I had no problems with bob; I purchased the upgraded suspension kit for the tiger 1 and other items with fast delivery.
On ETOArmor…
He is fast, and for those outside US borders, ~is~ willing to ‘adjust’ a waybill to make border crossings less painful, but there are downsides too.
I’ve noted sa few items that worry me: a trend of his prices being higher ~without~ shipping than BYA’s are ~with~ shipping; painfully well-padded shipping costs; and tacking on PayPal fees if you use it to order.
I found it cheaper recently to have someone pick parts up from him at Danville and have it shipped with something else from that third party.
I can’t say much about BYA… haven’t ordered from them yet, but may end up that way. Their e-mails were always fast and for the most part courteous & helpful.
I guess its a trade-off…
I just realize I know him. we met at Danvill, PA, he had a converted white StumTiger. my concern is the speed. I can not wait 2 month again to get parts for my customers. I will give Bob a try and see how fast he is. He just replied an email to me. seems pretty fast there. 56k or DSL?
I had bad luck with the emails with BYA. I emailed him and left message on his phone, no call back and reply for two weeks.
I used paypal, and I requested refund through paypal and warned that I would put this story on my website. then I got an email. his email was not fast, at least to me.
again, that is only my personal experience. I am putting on my shield and armor on now.[:-^]

Just a quick update, I’ve been keeping in touch with schumo regarding their s-mine launchers and they’re soon to be released, price TBA but the pictures they sent me are amazing, certainly worth the wait i reckon. Unfortunately, my website’s been taken down so i cannot host the pictures =(
send the picture to me, i can post them on my website if you want.
Skrull:
I’m sure Backyard Armor and ETO Armor would appreciate some advance pics, seeing as BYA has it advertised already, and ETO is the other US Schumo-Kits distributor.
And some kindly person posted a free image and video host/server, over at http://www.putfile.com/
Yea, there still are a few free hosting servers about…
Hello Guys,
Im new here so be nice to me. Ive just got back into 1/16 tanks after having an original Sherman from a long time ago. Have been into large scale trains and these still are the number one hobby but a friend spotted that Sherman mouldering on a visit to the railway. Dragged it down, fitted a battery and the thing still ran so at a later visit we had a play. Always wanted a Tiger so when same person suggested E-Bay I thought, yeah, why not. I now am in the throes of re-building the original Sherman, a new 56013 Sherman and the Tiger, all to be R/C. Boy is this some kit. Ive read all the pages here and have come across some brilliant tips and ideas from you more experienced modelers. Ive got to the part where the tracks and wheels are on temprorary, just so I can play a bit and the turret and uper deck are being painted and fitted with all those small items. No chance on any P/E, the originals are fiddly enough for me. One thing I would like to know, what gear boxes this monster is fitted with. In the front of the boxes there are three non brass looking gears. They do have short black covers on but no fixed slide like the Sherman ones. The only thing I do not like about this kit is the way too high speed and I think I need a pair of gear reductions but for which box ?.
Oh yes, and a belly plate perhaps ?.
And with regards to Skrull`s site being down, if you have a broadband connection with a static address why not use your own computer, just need Apache on it to serve the pages ?. Just a thought.
Tankmech
Hi Tankmech and welcome to the forum.
From the Tiger pics on your website you have what are generally called the “newer style gearboxes with black covers for the Tiger 1.” Gear reductions for them can be obtained from a few different sources. Read back a few pages and then take your pick of supplier. Either will confirm from the pic that this is so and liaise with you regarding your desired scale top speed. It can vary a bit with different pinions, motors, etc.
As to a belly plate, just email Whitewolf direct and he will provide you with all the info and the belly plates too.
Regards
Wlad
Tankmech, welcome.
is your train big enough to pull the tanks? that would be awesome.
nice build so far.
