Sory all pics are not mine so I can’t let them on the forum. Keep them for your personnal use

Bye

Pierre,

Tres Bon! Tres Bon!

Many thanks Pierre. These walk around shots will be invaluable.

Okay, about to get started on the B1 bis. I’m working slowly on getting the big pouring blocks off the main hull pieces. No real problem there, just being careful. I’m thinking of leaving the pour blocks on the inside of the sponsons, I think they’ll be hidden when built and as such shouldn’t be a problem. Any thoughts?[8)]

" I think they’ll be hidden when built and as such shouldn’t be a problem "

I think you’ve got the solution !
Will you post some pics of your progress ?

Steve,

I finally pulled out my Char B1 and I cut the pouring blocks off. Now I remember why I got a deal on this kit. Does your kit have instructions?

I have gotten as far as gluing the front and rear pieces to the hull and was trying to come up with a way for the turret to turn a full 360 degrees. Did some puttying on the hull. I will try to get a hold of a digital camera and get some pics on here,

Chris, my kit has Zaloga’s 5 view line drawings and a brief history of the vehicle. It also has a couple of detial drawings of the cupola and gun mantlet. Zaloga’s drawings are in 1/35 though and that’ll be helpful later on. I’m at brief stop right now, I’ll try to get some pics up when I actually get something done, but my digital camera is a pretty cheap one and it doesn’t take good close ups.

Well Nov 1 has come and gone and we do not have a GB badge yet. I am interested in these that were posted,

Is this a call to go to war, Pierre? Let me know. Thanks to all who are participating in this GB.

Hi Chris,

Yes . In June 1940 General De Gaule send a call to all French to take weapons back.
Since this day ,Resistence was born poeple begane to believe that a victory was possible.

Well guys, I think that’s a great GB badge. It’ll work for me.

works for me too!

Well, as the person who started the GB and with the approval of those involved I have decided to use this badge for those who complete the build.

Thank you Pierre and bon chance to those participating.

Why not ? [:)]
