Just finished the Arma Hobby 1/72 Ki-84 today folks. Amazing little kit. Highly recommended. Painted with Tamiya paints.
Awesome build. The paint chipping is impressive considering it’s 1/72 Scale. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you @Cbowling – yes the chipping can be a challenge in this scale. It was a combination of hair spray, silver pencil and Tamiya flat aluminum lacquer applied with a tiny brush.
Nice job. I particularly like the weathering, especially in this scale.
Arma makes a really good kit (I did a F4F-4 Wildcat last year, first Arma kit for me). I need to get a few more for the stash.
Very nice work. The spinner and prop look fantastic. Once again the chipping effects are great.
Yes, the kit was quite nice. Pretty amazing for 1/72 scale actually. I have 2 Airfix 1/72 F4F’s so I probably won’t end up building the Arma version. Going to do one with wings folded and one spread. Might pick up the Arma Ki-43 though…
Thank you kindly Mobious!
This one turned out exceptionally well Chris. You should post that picture up with the eyeglasses laying next to it as it puts all of the hard work on this bird in true perspective. Incredible work.
Thank you Sir! I will take your advice. I did not notice that I had not included that photo!
Excellent build…I love the “beat-up” look!
Not really an airplane guy, but that is nicely done.
Many thanks sir……..!
