Well.I have worked for two days and I,ve gotten this far. Hawse hole lips corrected. Mold lines sanded off bottom . 5" AA and 5"/38 gun bases done . Now tomorrow I shall do the barrels and keep on keepin on. The parts fit is excellent so far ,with few noticeable mold lines .The parts are small so if you are working on this model , DO NOT feed the carpet monster !! The parts do NOT have extras except the 5"38 gun and then it isn,t very much. Be careful and I believe when you finish you will be satisfied with the model . By the way , for those of you who don,t know , the w/t doors on this model CAN BE replaced with the TOM,S MODELWORKS 1/192 set. They are exactly the same size. good luck tankerbuilder
Musta got that tax refund! I’d love to see how you get this one together. I’m starting on the 1/350 this summer.
I am sorry B-man NO tax refund! This is a client build . He wanted one and can,t handle the (as he says) “the smaller ships” So he,s paying me to build it ! PLUS he sent a bonus . Another one for me to build for myself ! Now how,s that for a bonus ? He even included All the extra detail - up sets for both ships ! Now , I bettya I won,t get to build mine till late next year sometime . Oh , well , I willpost my progress evry day or every other day . I still can,t seem to do photos though . catchya later tankerbuilder
