Argentine A-4 Skyhawk question

Dear modelers,

Could anyone tell me which version of the A-4 the Argentine Navy used during the F
Falklands War of 1982?

Also, which kit do you recommend using to reproduce this version acurately?

Thanks,
Tankbuster

What scale?

There were a mixture of used A-4Bs and A-4Cs in Argentine service at the time of the Falklands War. The Bs were designated A-4P (Argentine Airforce) and A-4Q (Argentine Navy) by the US Department of Defence.

I have a Hobbycraft A-4C “Falkland island war” kit.

It’s very good, the only baddy about it is the canopy is kinda flat…
Decals look nice, even though I have not built it yet.

Hasegawa’s A-4 seelction is quite good as well. All are in 1/48 scale

Cheers[;)]

The build I’m looking for is in 1/48…I know hasegawa makes them but
which version should I purchase. There’s a C and an E/F.

Thanks,
Tank

and so forth.

You might check decals on squadron. probably they still have a supplier (Albatros from Mexico) that specializes on decals for latin american countries.
hope it helps.

If you go down to the Falkland islands with a brush and shovel you could get a 1:1 kit.

Ah, snibble, be civil please! Cheers.

P.S. I love the monument to the RAF depicting three spitfires out side the Jaguire facility in Birmingham.
