I have been looking through online reviews of F-16s and they rarely mention if the canopy comes tinted or not.
I’m still awful with my airbrush and I really don’t think I’m ready to tackle a good looking transparent paint job.
I’m planning on doing my fist camo paint job by making a model of my fighter from an old computer game, Strike Commander. I figure no one would mind if the paint job itself is a bit inaccurate, since hardly anyone remembers Strike Commander.
I don’t care what version of the F-16 the kit depicts, as long as it is a single-seater.
A pilot figure is a must (I’ve got to be able to depict my alter-ego! [:D]).
Also, engraved panel lines would be nice, and so would weapons like Sidewinders, AMRAAMs, Mavericks, iron bombs, Durandals, rocket pods, etc. but these aren’t really necessary (I did always try to keep my bomb load at light as possible! [:p])
Any scale is good but 1/72 would be preferred, if not only for simplicity of the build, but also because I don’t have as much of an emergency styrene fund as a lot of the folks here. [:p]
