Dose anyone know if anyone makes a Arado 234 kit?
Thank you…
Sorry, I guess I should have done a search before posting. Anyway it looks like Hasegawa makes one, but in what scale? 1/48 would be awesome to build?
Thanks again…
Hi.
There are a series from Hasegawa in 1/48 scale. I’ve got two of them and they are quite nice, in the box.
Derwin
Hobby Craft also does one (1/48) that makes into a nice model.
Hasegawa’s Ar 234 is an excellent kit which is also marketed by Revell of Germany and ProModeler. Here’s a few reviews; the first and last are in-box reviews but the other two are build-reviews:
Hasegawa 1/48 Arado Ar 234 B-2 “Blitz Bomber”
ProModeler 1/48 Ar-234C-3
Hasegawa 1/48 Ar-234 ‘Blitz’
Revell 1/48 Arado Ar 234C-3
The Hobbycraft 48th kit is ‘eh’, but can be built into a nice model. Dragon/DML made a nifty little kit in 72nd, although I dunno if it’s still available.
There’s a few 48th detail sets out there for the Ar 234, mostly based on the Hasegawa kits. Squadron has a great price on one of the Hasegawa kits this month; I think it’s around $23.

Thanks all, BlackWolf those links were very helpful, so helpful the Hasegawa is soon to be in my xmas stocking (need a bigger stocking). That would be an awesome sight to see an Adrado escorted by a few Me262’s.
Yes I sometimes hang them from the ceiling (cats can’t jump that high) by the way RIP Me Bf109 E-3 & MeBf109 E-4/7TROP had a good time building you
(dang cats)!!!
Anyway thanks again…
Hmmmm… I’ve had plenty of experience in combating cats in and around the workshop. Maybe we can trade notes on anti-cat measures for the modeler… [:p]
Anyhoo, glad to be of help. I need a bigger stocking as well…

I don’t know about 1/48 kits… but there is 3 versions in 1/72 from DML… one is the B-2 version… another is the C-4 version with four engines, and finally the B Nachtigall version… it’s a nightfighter… I’ve built this kit, and it’s really good, it has a fully detailed cockpit, You won’t need aftermarket pieces, I think… the bad point, I think that these kits are actually discontinued… but maybe you still can get one of them… here in my country I did… I’ve found the nightfighter version for $ 20.00…
I have the DML 234C-3 in 1/72 and it appears to be quite a nice kit. Very clean and crisp lines. Haven’t really checked out the cockpit details (it’s packed away right now). Eduard once had a detail kit for it, but it’s now OOP. My 234C is on my short list of “to build” kits.
Searching www.greatmodels.com brought up quite a few hits including a future release from Revell AG. DML also has a 234C with an E-381 Julia parasite fighter hung underneath. That one is on my “next purchase” list as I didn’t know it existed.
LoneWolf - I hope you get your Christmas wish.
BTW - I have several good books on Luftwaffe A/C, so let me know if you want to borrow them.

Thanks everyone…
BlackWolf as far as combating cats try a sleep aid, it works for me look…
Just kidding, I wouldn’t do that…[}:)]
