Arabic skin tones

Modelers, I’m somewhat of a newbie when it comes to painting figures. Therefore, I was using this gentlemen’s methods fo painting a figues face using the same paints he has suggested. http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2001/12/stuff_eng_tech_paint_faces.htm

However, in my case, my figures will be Iraqi and therefore will have a different skin tone than this article. I was orginally just going to add some brown to the 50/50 mixture of thinner and Warm Skin Tone he suggests in step 2, but I thought I’d ask here first. Any suggestions on accomplishing this?

Thanks.
Dana

If you’re working in 1/35, the differences between a middle eastern caucasian and a midwestern caucasian would be negligible. The most notable differnce would be the predominance of black hair as opposed to blond, brown or red shades. I use only burnt sienna and titanium white for my flesh tones, but if pressed, I might add just the lightest hint of a cooler brown, such as van dyke brown to the mix.
