My contribution this month is the Cedric 330 Works by Aoshima - this kit is well thought out and molded- parts fit well. My paint job is not perfect but practice makes perfect as they say. I try to match the cover art but I switched the “gold” on the box to a “copper red”. one thing that can be noted - not sure why- the cover art indicates a Star type wheel but the kit included " Centerline" type wheels. I found the “star” type for sale on ebay and switched them out ( the first picture shows the kit wheels). Overall a fun kit -no engine in these of course- they always seem to be prepped for an electric motor ( I have no idea how good that would work as the parts do not seem robust enough for motors). For the forums I need to to get in the habit of taking progress pictures - it seems like it adds to the discussion.
Nice job. Certainly follows the theme of the box art. Were the fender flares molded in or are they add-ons to the body which would certainly make painting easier.
Great work on this one too. The star styled wheels are much better than the Centerlines for sure on this build. You pick very interesting and unusual subjects. I really enjoy seeing your work. Thanks for posting!

thanks for all your comments - the fenders on this were separate - I put them on before decals and clear coat. I have more to come on this same Japanese racing theme ( I suppose because I find them unusual) - I try to pick models based upon if I find the box art interesting ( and try to make it just like the image) or see something that catches my interest and modify it - I see a lot of great stuff on this site - looks like we are cut from the same cloth ( model building fanatics) ! I do find it also interesting that the Cedric car as manufactured by Nissan is a 4 door sedan ( 1975 -1979, ) and from the stock pictures I have seen, the stock vehicle is not very racy or in my opinion very attractive but this version is surprisingly good looking and contemporary. I understand they have quite a following in Japan.
