I’ve been seeing these advertised lately, and I happen to have a project right now that I’m utilizing a jewelry saw on, but thinking about using the ultrasonic tool. It’s kinda pricey. Anyway, does anyone have experience with one of these or can recommend one?

I have seen people use them on Yourube, but when I went looking for one, the price was kind of shocking - $200 to $300.
That being said, the guys in the videos made it look effortless, much less work than struggling with a saw. I have made some real damage fighting with a razor saw!
I guess the important question to ask is if you will use it a lot. I questioned getting some punch and die sets due to their cost, but can happily say that I do use them often.

I’ve never heard of this before, I have no need for one but I sure am interested to know how it works.
Have one, its something that it depends on the project if its worth it. If your sprue trees have alot of small parts with large pour tabs/connections then its an absolute god send as it will allow for those parts to be cut off the tree without damaging the part. Also if your are working with resin it is almost a required investment. Outside of that it is a bit of a luxury item that you don’t have to have.
