Anyone make a

Sig 33 (ww2 german SP gun) on the 38t chassis? I’ve seen the ones built on the pzkpfw II chassis, but not the 38t…

There was an article in the November 2003 issue of FSM by Scott Conner.

Alan makes the Marder IID, which was on that chassis.
search on www.greatmodels.com for “1/35 ah5011 Sdkfz 131 Marder IID”
is that what you are looking for?
ed.

erm…not certain, It looks like a Hetzer with a front mounted howetzer (got it in a book on 38t varients), I’ll see if I can’t google up an image and we’ll go from there.

Is what I was looking for, which is made, but the price is frightening!

Well, there’s also the Grille (Cricket), SdKfz 138/1, which meets all the requirements you have imposed – a Sig33 on a 38(t) chassis. Of course, it’s not mounted into the Hetzer hull.

Dragon makes a couple of different Grille models, IIRC.

The Grille has always been a big favorite of mine. A great example of how the Germans improvised and slapped together some fairly decent weapon systems. I like its looks too – kind of squat and ugly.
