Anyone know the outside diameter of a .50 cal barrel?

Hey gang,

I was hoping that somebody here knows the OD of the barrel and the OD of the barrel vent.

I know the ID of the barrel of the bore (.5", duh, lol). But I need the od of the barrel and the cooling sleeve.

Dont take it as gospel because I don’t recall and cant find reference to exact numbers, and there are so many variations of the gun barrel out there depending on what it’s intended to go on (infantry, in an aircraft, mounted on a ship . . . ) but you can ballpark that most of the barrels at the end where the flash supressor are taper down to just under 1 1/2" and the supressor itself is marginally larger, like 1 3/4".
