Has anyone here built the Kinetic 1:48 C-2 Greyhound? I’d really like a Greyhound in my stash, as it provided the only plane ride I ever took that started with a cat shot (yeah, it was a rush). Looking for build feedback, if possible, 'cause I’ll build it sooner rather than later, if I buy it. However, I don’t want to shell out that kind of money if the kit’s a dog. Any info about the kit, even about Kinetic kits generally (I’ve never built one), will be appreciated. Thanks!

Can’t say I have. But I’m working on their A-6 kit at the moment and it’s a dog. Not really impressed with Kinetic. I’d encourage you to scour the internet for reviews before shelling out any cash.
I recently built their E2-C Hawkeye and thought it went togther very nicely and was quiet impressed. No filler needed and well detailed. I have the C-2 sitting in my stash and it looks really nice with full interior detail. It appears to be of the same quality as the Hawkeye and I would recommend it.
I decided to open mine up and it is indeed the same high quality as the E2-C and uses many of the same parts where applicable. However I discovered there are no decals in the box! I guess I will be learning if their customer service is any good

kinetic is a hit or miss. i was told the intruder is a total pain.
Bigfoot01 - Thanks for the info (and the pics - nice build [Y]). Seeing the markings on your Hawkeye made me want one, as the ship I catapaulted off of was the Kitty Hawk, back in '71. I’ll probably buy a C-2 and an E-2 now, LOL! Please let me know how your business with Kinetic’s customer service goes.

Old Ordie: you are welcome and thank you! As for Kinetic Customer Service, all I can say is WOW! I e-mailed them late Saturday night about the missing decals. This morning (Monday) I received an e-mail from them with the shipping and tracking number for the decals! I haven’t received service like that from any model company before. I am very impressed!

Kinetic is very hit or miss. Their Hawkeye was 3 months of constant battle for a kit that I really expected a lot more from. Their intruder is nice, but is a lot of work… Their F-16D was a disaster. But their Mirage 2000 was one of the better kits I have built… So I would say if you want a C-2, go for it. You might be surprised… Or you will hate it.
they are getting better with each release but still isn’t something to get excited about. still not sure if i want to pull the trigger on their new F-5.
