Dragon has an M-16/AR-15 Weapons Set that has plenty of weapons you could use.

Any of the short-barreled CAR 15s or an M16A1 would work just fine.

Those Dragon weapon sets go for between $7-$10 depending on where you can find them. I just picked up their Vietnam weapon set a couple weeks ago for $9. this set includes the “chopped” M-60 machine gun among a few other rare weapons.
