Just curious if there are any AM 32nd scale modern flight helmets avalible. I am actually doing my first commision build.!! (So excited[#toast])

I will be tackeling Tamiya’s 32nd kit…
One other question… I am guessing I should check w/ Mike Grant decals for the dials n such for the IP… The CRT screens I am not worried about.
To think, as big as this kit is, Tamiya would have done a lil more to the pit… O’well time to have fun.

If you really want to dress up the Viper. Avionix makes a very nice cockpit. The tub, seat and consoles are great. The inst pnl, IMO, is worse than the kit supplied IP. As far as modern flight helmets your only choice would be to get a modern 1/32 scale pilot and use that helmet. I have just the reverse problem. I am looking for the old stye Vietnam era helmet and most pilot figures have the modern type. The ones I have found, the pilot is wearing the helmet and I need pilots without their helmet.
Have you both tried MASTER DETAILS. I checked them out. No helmets, but they have pilots in 1/32 from 70`s to modern AF, Navy & marine. Just a thought…
WOOHOO!!! Congratulations Mike, couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Glad you were able to comission your first build! Wish I could help you out with the flight helmet, but I have none. I have always wanted to build one of those Tamiya 1/32 F-16s, but just never had the cash laying around that I could spend on something like that. Someday perhaps…

I’ll see what I can come up with in the meantime… I see the above site given has quarter scale helmets but so far nothing in 32nd… Ratz

I’ll use this one as a test bed for mine… LMAO Actually my friend supplied me not only w/ the kit but with all the paints as well… I told him while he’s at it, he should throw in a new Iwata AB… Hehehehehe… He just looked at me and said, wishful thinking.[banghead]
Yea know, I was thinking of posting this as a build from start to finish but I am not sure… We shall see…
