What color do you paint the wire. I am building a P-47 Thunderbolt.
I’d paint it steel or Flat aluminum…
It would have been either stranded and braided copper or stainless steel, I’m not sure which. I’ve used braided copper wire for antennas before and after a few months it turns almost black with copper-colored streaks in it from weathering. Stainless, as butchy mentioned, would be steel or aluminum colored.
