Hello to all,
Greetings from Northern California. Same story as many - took a “short” 30 year break to raise a family and wow, so much has changed. Learning to use acrylic paint, photo etch, and water-based putty. Where was Tamiya Extra Thin all my life? lol

Anyway - what a great group you seem to be - looking forward to learning more from the lot of you. Some amazing work shared here.

Here’s my first two completed projects in 1:72 - Airfix Duo set and an ICM scout car:

Hi Richard! Welcome! Nice work! When you say northern California, is that north of Sacramento? I lived in Modesto for 15 years before escaping to Ohio.:grin:

Welcome! Nice builds - really like your display stands. I grew up in NorCal - northeast sacto until I was 16 then 40 years in SoCal and now in AZ.

Nice work. I can see I am going to need to do a Spitfire because I have seen some nice ones on this forum since getting back into modeling after 50 years away. I am not really an airplane person, but I can see that an exception will need to be made.
