Thanks to the help of the people here, I was able to complete my DR.I in Richthofen’s markings. However, instead of going for Revell’s given markings, I chose 141/17, a Fokker with red tops and light blue undersides. The only mod I did was to paint two small black 1s and trim the decals accordingly. The decals were thick, so I used several brushes of Mr. Mark Softer to soften the decals into submission.

@Sturmovik Nice work on the Red Baron! I think I built that one when I was a kid, along with the SPAD and the Sopwith Camel in that odd 1/28 scale. But none of those builds survived the years.
I was looking for the SPAD or the Sopwith Camel to confront the Baron, but the most recent rebox of the latter by Revell isn’t to be seen. The SPAD does though.
