AMT Star Trek the Motion Picture Klingon Cruiser in black plastic.

Hello to all,

I’ve seen some photos of the AMT STtMP Klingon Cruiser (pretty much the current Round2 K’tinga) in black plastic. Does anyone here know about this?

If this black plastic version were a US issue, I suspect that it must have been sold as ERTL stock 6682, if only because the box of my powder blue copy has the notice “COLOR OF CONTENTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE” printed on the box.

I have no idea, I built the kit back in the late '80s as the AMT kit and it was molded in the blue-green colour. I do think black would suit a Klingon better though!
