Yes, very nice. I got a repop of that kit a few years ago from a dollar store. Decided to build it to get me out of a ‘make it perfect’ funk. I was going to just build it, with NO paint or AM bits, just like I did as a kid, only paying very close attention to making sure it was assembeled as well as I possibly could.
I was surprised at how nice this kit was, especially for an old AMT kit. Decent detail and fit, with a minimum of flash. I’d recommend you grab one if you can.
41 year paint job holding up pretty good!
Not bad!
I was only ever so so at math myself. But, well never mind.
We got my wife the latest release of the Revell model, it’s pink on the box which is what caught her eye of course. After the 1960 T Bird builds not sure she still wants to venture into this one. If not I’ll build it eventually. I have the 1/16 AMT in the works too.
Still looking good Eugene !!
Thanks!
Looks real nice, Eugene. Nicely done and quite a beauty.
I agree!
That T-Bird looks fantastic! That old Testors paint has held up great over the years. I’ve always like the look of the continental spare tire carrier on these classic cars. Seeing this model made me think of the car from the TV show “Spencer for Hire”

No Tom ,you mean Vegas$!Spencer drove a Green 67 Mustang!
I cut the rear window and port holes from an old CD case and glued them in place Then I will do the trim with bare metal foil.
You are correct! My bad but both were good shows back in the day.
Yes I used to watch both of them back in the day!
