An old friend of mine had a '49 Led Sled with a chopped top and a visor over the windshield faired into the roof. He painted it a light tan. I raced against him many times at Atco Dragway. That was one heck of a car. I think over the years we broke even in the number of wins.

Getting the chassis together a nice surprise is the posable front spindle arrangement Just have to be very careful when assembling the spindles and the rod.

Decided to go with a two tone interior. 
I decided to paint the engine and transmission silver.

Don’t forget! paint the intruments.The stock guages were white background with Black lettering!

Painted the firewall and underside of the hood and trunk silver in preparation for airbrushing the Tamiya Clear Orange …
I decided to make a custom air filter box for the dual carb set up. 
Mounted the body to the chassis…
Went with a single muffler with a crossover pipe,works well. 
Hood Clearance is good on the air cleaner.
