This is the AMT 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup Truck that I painted last year. This is a stock build except for the wired distributor. The paint is Anita’s Cafe Au Lait acrylic paint and it was cleared with Rust-Oleum Crystal Clear Lacquer. This kit had some fit issues and despite everything I read about the glass not fitting the body, mine seem to fit just fine.
Great color. Good looking truck. Does the kit come with those wheels as well as the stock ones?
Thanks. Yup ,what you see comes in the kit as well as stock wheels and tires.
Great looking truck! I like that you used craft paint and your finish looks excellent. I find that a lot of modelers tend to ignore the craft paints.

Thanks. I also is craft paint vs for the interior.
Great job with the paint.[t$t]
I use a lot of various makes of craft paints. My wife clued me in to them at Joanne Fabrics. I use Vallejo Model air and Model Color for military colors. If I happen to be with my wife at Joanne Fabrics, I’ll spend the time looking through their shelves of paint. A couple of times they had them on sale 3 for $1.00. I’ve got a whole desk drawer full of their paints. There is some military colors on their shelves but it takes a while looking through all the brands they have to find them.

Stay Safe.
Thanks for the feedback Jim. The craft paints are pretty good and easy to clean up.
