How many entries are allowed? 1 per category? As many as you want? Are there seprate judging and display only areas?
Marc
When you register, like IPMS you fill out a form for each model. BUT…you take it to the entry table where it will wait for judging. There is a separate judging area. When it is your models turn, your model is then (by the judging staff) taken in and judged. Once it is judged it is placed in the display area. When you turn in your model it is place on a tray to protect it while it is moved around
I don’t think there is any limit…I will have 4 entries 2 of which are in the same catagory.
Hope this helps and looking forward to seeing you
Rounds Complete!!
There shouldn’t be any limitations. Unlimited entries, unlimited wins. Howevever, AMPSEast may have the “top winning entry/category gets the medal” rule that exists with the AMPS International Show.
What this meas is that if you enter 3 US WW2 tanks (category II) and a german Flak piece (Category VI) and at the end of the day, your three tanks merit 3 silvers and your Flak gets a gold, then you will actually be awarded One Silver (for one US tank) and One Gold medal (for the Flak).
Hope this helps.
From the flyer: Adults, Non-AMPS Members: $10.00
(Up to Three Entries)
Each Additional Entry: $1.00
Please Note: The Chief Judge reserves the right to limit entry quantities in order to ensure fair and thorough judging for all entrants
Hence, unlimited entries. In the past, there was a 4 entry limit. But as stated above, if you have more than one entry in a class, you are eligible only for the best entry in that category. Therefore, if you enter 2 Shermans, one achieves a bronze rating, the other a gold, you get a single gold medal in that class. The upside of this is, if you have a gold level entry, you get your gold, regardless of how many other gold level entries there are.
Thanks guys.
See you tomorrow[:P]
Good luck Marc! Take pics and keep us posted my friend! [:D]
