A couple of months back, I remember seeing on some modeling and aviation forums that there was a print of the oldest F-14 being sold to help raise money for its “salvation.” Well, by chance, I ran across a salvage and restoration project that I thought could use some support, too.
First off, let me say that I am NOT affiliated with this restoration. I just happened to run across its story on the web and found it fascinating. Being a fan of the P-61, and an aviation enthusiast in general, I thought this would be an amazing project to support.
Sorry if this has been posted before, I just figured it’d be something fellow aviation and history buffs would be interested in. I’m sure the museum would appreciate our support. If you’re unable to donate, at least take a look at the site and read the story. It’s nice to see that there are people sacrificing their time to help preserve history.
I’m looking forward to the big fighter’s second “first flight.”
Cheers,
