Hi guys, I am doing what the following link is telling me, but I don’t get how it goes from picture 5 to picture 6, how do I get the frosted metal look??
Thanks, Anthony.

Sounds as if he is just spraying mist coats (very thinned paint at low pressure) over the whole model to get that effect.
I don’t know, it doesn’t look very realistic to me. Looks like a model that has been painted over and not completed. I’ll stick to the good old wash and drybrush methods for weathering.
Thanks Heavy… I am building my Tiger in a winter dio and did not want to put a white wash over it, how would you make it look “frosted”??
Anthony.
I would give it a light gray wash, followed by medium gray and light grey ending in almost white drybrushes. You could also do a very light drybrushing of silver to give it some sparkle. Should look cold and frosty.
