Alterations to the 1/72nd scale Space Shuttle diorama

For space and transportation reasons, I greatly reduced the size of the diorama base. I was able to use most of the materials from the original base in an effort to save money. New graphics are being made for this base.
With it being shorter now, it’s easier to see more of the details on the launch pad. I’ve added additional figures, and a water truck on a side, unpaved, service road.

I decided to use HO scale figures and vehicles. Both figures and vehicles came pre-painted. The only change I made was adding the NASA logo to the doors.

Thanks for the comment. I started the project on the 28th of October, 2024. It was finished on the 12th of August, 2025. The mobile launch platform and crawler took the longest to build. It was my first time building paper models.
