Well, all the construction is finally done on the RMS Titanic that I’m building for my brother.

I decided to shave the backs of the ratlines that are molded in the kit, since it was taking too long to make some out of 2lb test line.

You can see the difference here, the unshaved one is on the left:

Finally, here she is in all her glory:

Looking real good, nice idea on thinning down the lines. Most modelers don’t even bother.

Thanks Jake. I got the idea after I tried to make new ones and they came out terrible even before I finished! Then I lookd at them and thjought, ‘Gee, I might as well just thin them down’. So I did. Now all I have to do is rig her and then get the showcase built so I can send it too him.

Thank you very much. I should have more pics done in a couple days, once I get this model rigged.
