What Aliens model would you most like to build? I think I’d like to build the Betty or a Dropship.[;)]
I wish someone made a resin interior and detail set for the Aliens APC like they do for 1/35 scale armor kits. Been waiting to build my second until someone does a detail set.
AEF designs did just that back in the late '80’s. But like so many things on film the APC interior set doesn’t fit in the full size tractor.
I’ve always thought the dropship was really cool. I’d love to seen an affordable kit of that.
Is $40 affordable to you? They are out there. If you are patient you might be able to get one at a better price on Ebay.
Someday, I plan on doing a full interior detail model of the APC, been collecting some bits to use (got some 1:32 PE CRT displays that should work) but it looks like it’s gonna be major scratchbuild time. Just gonna have to watch it over and over (not a prob, I do that anyway) and take notes.
BTW, I read somewhere that the interior shots depict a larger vehicle than what is seen compared to the exterior.
And can’t forget the sharp sticks … [;)]
Well I’d Love to do the Dropship in a 1/48 scale or larger , but then again I woundnt want to see the price tag attachated to it either [xx(]

That price isn’t bad at all.
I hope to get a drop ship one day and that 1/48 scale one looks sweet, but I’m just not ready to spend more that $40 or $50 on a kit yet. I’m still hoping I’m going to go back into time, buy all the kits I ever wanted and stash them in a secret location so that I’ll stumble onto them in the future, but it hasn’t happened yet.[:)]

How can ou not spend $40 on a model kit these days? The prices for the 1/72nd scale FimeMolds X-Wing are around $35 on American store shelves. You really do get what you pay for. onw more than ever. Just be glad we aren’t pushing you to buy into the resin kit market, 
$40 for a Dropship is quite a nice price these days.
[:)] Yeah, I know, but let me live in the past just a little longer. I’ve just gotten over the shock of $25+ kits. And I know that we look back to the days when kits were $1 and think wow, but we fail to realized that a dollar then was equivilent to $5 or $10 today. But seriously, I haven’t seem a dropship for $40 anywhere yet. When I do see on on e-bay, it’s usually higher than that. Of course, I don’t hit e-bay that often, because if I did, I’d spend way to much.

I would like to see a model of an M 40 Ridgeway or an M22 Jackson tank in scale with the Halcyon dropship. those tanks, while never seen in the movies are in the Aliens Colonial Marines Tech manual.
