There are a number of kits that depict the 1950’s Alfa’s and this is the SMER version of the ‘Alfetta’…
Although the kit has been on my shelves for a few years and the decals have ‘yellowed’ I still used them for a period effect.

Nice! Love that era in auto racing
Thanks John. Yes Classic car racing is very popular here in the UK. We have the Silverstone Citcuit just 5 miles away and they have various large race meetings there throughout the year.
That is stunning! Good job on the finish and the decals. Looks ready for Goodwood
Just picked a kit out of my stash too, the ancient Triumph TR4A from Airfix - was inspired to build it when I saw a 1:1 TR6 at a friend’s house. All around the house, in fact…
Here’s hoping I can finish mine first! the kit is quite nice…
Thanks HHscale. Yes I had a few early Airfix kits, they take you back to the day they were on the road in numbers!
I remember in early sixties building every available Smer (or whoever it was back then) F-1 car.
Yes Don, I think Merit and the new Mister Craft Hobby produce this as well.
