have 1/72 airfix short sunderland III model.
need help with paint scheme, especially interior colors
the directions do not idicate any colors except fr major parts
perfer to use tamiya colors
want 1942-43 RAF Atlantic version
The interior of the Sunderland in the RAF museum is interior green. Correct colours are extra dark sea grey/ dark slate grey camoflage topsides and white undersurface and sides. Tamiya do not have extra dark sea grey or dark slate grey (which looks more like a green) in their range, polyscale do and I find it excellent for spray or brush.
