Hi Everyone !!! Two days ago i was most furtunate to atend an airshow in Zeltweg Austria… "airpower 05 " It was fantastic ! some of the highlights were , bf 109 , corsair , b25 , sea vixen ,an asorment of modern jet fighters and choppers plus many aerobatic flight teams from accross Europe such as the Red Arrows.
I have some pictures to post if anyone’s interested , but sadly , i dont know how to do this yet. ( plus , i would like to share pics of my models ! )
I was wondering if anyone else here attended and what they thought.

Hello Peter. Unfortunately Zeltweg was a little too far away for me. I saw quite a few Austrian aircraft at the Dutch Airforce show at Gilze-Rijen (on the 18th). I was told by an AAF technician there, that Zeltweg would be the last chance to see a Saab Draken in the air, Gilze-Rijen therefore being almost the last… I wonder if they made a big show of it at Zeltweg? Any pics would be great of course.
Regarding pics, if you can host your own pics (on some server space your provider usually includes in your subscription), you can just put a link in your post. To hot-link the pics (watch the sizes!), put the pic address between [img] and […/img] (without the dots, that’s just so I don’t get an error here). It will then show up here. If you can’t host your own pics, search for some posts on this topic. There’s some free options out there (although I forgot about them of course [:I]).
Thanks for your reply although i’m still in the dark about posting pics -i 'll see if i can find more out here. I guess i’m what you call coputer illiterate .There was so much going on that day that i have to think about seeing the Draken flying…mmmmmm yep, it was in there somewhere- but by that time of day i was quite sunburnt and dehidrated !Still, it was agreat day !..happy modelling
I can relate to the sunburnt and dehidrated part [;)]. As you can probably tell I’m not much of a computer expert myself. Not a bad skier though, like yourself [:P]. You gotta stick to what counts, right? By the way, I just noticed you’re an Ozzy: what are you doing at an Austrian airshow in june? Shouldn’t you be instructing skiers somewhere in the southern hemisphere around this time?[(-D]
