Nice one mate, tough to work in that “Braille Scale” but that turned out nicely!

I’d love to see some closer pics–can’t see much from all the way over here!

From what I can see, I would advise to invest in some grass powder and some rudimentary bushes. Why, and where would these figures be running over ground totally devoid of any apparent vegetation at all?! It just doesn’t strike me as very realistic at all.

Then again, I will admit that perhaps I just can’t see it from “over here” ?! [;)]

Ditto…the ground seems a little out of scale…also, are the steel wheels and barrels seem too bright and the gun shields too green…let’s see some detail shots and maybe you will get better feedback…that is a tough scale to work in but your figs and horses appear nice from afar…

the ground work is dirt from the garden ,so it is hard to say that is out of scale

If this is a WWI depiction, there just might not be any foliage. But there would be shell holes and broken terrain.

it is of L battery royal horse artillery in the reteat from mons september 1914 ,so much of the ground that I have seen in a book is flat.

One observation - if it was that awful soft, slick plastic that Airfix used to loveeeeeeeeeeee to mold figures in, then you did an exceptional job of painting them.

You must not understand what I mean then…it isn’t out of scale to you or me, but it would be to a person who is less than an inch high…

I’d say it’s pretty good… but it’s the duplicate poses that I notice first. A little figure modification can go a long way. But, that’s just my opinion.
