This is a blast from the past. I bought this kit more than a couple of years ago and now that I have the time, I’m going at it. The four-piece hull looks like I will need six hands to put together. Does anyone who may have built this kit have any suggestions on the best way to go about it?
I built mine in the late '70’s. I dry fitted using tape and rubber bands until I figured I had it right, then applied plastic glue. I now use small drops of CYA strategically placed for temporary fitting to get things right. When I’m satisfied with the fit, I glue up, using tape, rubber bands and plastic glue or solvent (for strength).

Hi, when I built mine(and I have another to build) I did it this way.First the sides and transom. Then the two halves of the bottom. This cuts you down to two pieces of hull parts you have to handle.Let these units dry well BEFORE trying to bring the bottom and sides together. Once you,ve done this the rest is a neat build.ENJOY tankerbuilder
