A WIP tiger 1 Berlin diorama for Singapore Airfix Aeronautical Engineering competition
Worked on the base a little although It does need some touching up. The tiger has had weathering added and the figure has been painted. Please tell me your opinions on this model.
Very nice Ethan. I once did a similar diorama with a Tiger I beside a building in that “ambush” position, but so far I think yours is looking better than mine did. Mine was a little too close to the building, and there was a balcony on the building which was making the turret not fit right.
Ethan, I liked your idea!
I believe you are in the process of construction. I say this because I miss the building’s debris and especially the integration of Tiger into the scene, but as I said, you will certainly do it.
I am enjoying it and following along.
I would like to know whether I ruined it or made it better. I added netting to the vehicle and some other accessories. Also, do not worry Ricardo, I am going to add debris but I am still prepping it and painting it.
Ethan, it would be more appropriate to use just the shells instead of the complete ammunition shells + projectile. The net turned out well, it’s usually used to hide the vehicle in the countryside, but there’s nothing stopping it from being used in the city.
Worked on it a little today. Took the suggestion and changed the ammo to a singular casing. I also touched up the camo netting.
Your diorama is looking very good Ethan! As it’s “peeking” from around the corner reminds me of that scene from Band of Brothers when that Tiger pokes out from the side of that building.
